Charity grateful to band and audience

I WOULD like to thank Littlehampton Concert Band on behalf of HOMElink, for its fund-raising performance on Saturday of Music in Spring, which has rarely been equalled in Littlehampton.

The programme was well thought-out with something in it for every taste.

The soloist Julie le Manquais and her accompanist Ruth Justice were superb and a real joy.

I would also like to thank everyone who turned out on a wet, dismal Saturday evening '“ without you we could not provide a much-needed service for the homeless.

Our next fund-raising event is courtesy of the Chandler Variety Company, which is donating the proceeds of its performance of That's Entertainment, celebrating 40 years of the Chandler Variety Company, on Friday, June 6, at the Windmill Theatre, to HOMElink.
