Could not find fault

HARDLY a week passes when we are not subjected to adverse publicity regarding our hospital. It would appear that we are all too quick to criticise but very reluctant to praise the work they do under very difficult circumstances, so I should like to put the record straight as regards my personal experience.

I recently spent eight days in the Conquest Hospital and can honestly say I could not fault the treatment I received from both the day staff and the night staff, and that included the nurses and doctors as well as the domestic staff.

They were all very dedicated people who carried out their duties in a very professional and cheerful manner.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, was too much trouble and I cannot thank them enough for all the care they showed me and the rest of the patients in Newenden Ward.
