Desperate need for yellow lines

INCONSIDERATE parking means that bin lorries and emergency vehicles often can't get into, or along, our road.

More than five years ago the county council told us that it would consider putting yellow lines at the entrance, if it could find the money to do so, after I complained when the ambulance was unable to get to my address, and I had to be pushed from the top to the main road (I have a heart problem).

Since then we have been in touch with the parish, district and county councils. The only person who has tried, and paid me a visit, was our MP Peter Bottomley.

Is there anyone who can help us? Or give me some paint to do it myself.

We have also been up to eight weeks without our bins being emptied, not for want of trying.

R. Smith,
