The work of guest dance artists and influences from professional choreographers such as Matthew Bourne, Akram Khan and Judith Jamison will sit alongside the students’ own choreographic work.

Melanie Russell, Assistant Principal at Collyer’s said: “We have an outstanding dance department and Andrea Martin and these exceptionally gifted dancers are a credit to Collyer’s. We are extremely excited about Ready for Take-Off being staged at the Capitol Theatre, which is a fantastic venue for our students to showcase their talent.”

Andrea Martin added: “Collyer’s has been preparing students for professional dance training for a number of years and we are hoping that these students will hopefully join the tradition of success established by former students who are now working in the profession as choreographers, dancers, teachers and managers.”
