Fantastic success with 400 entries to show

Almost 400 colourful, tasty and crafty entries from around 100 adults and children made Cowfold’s Summer Show a fantastic success. The show was part of Cowfold Fete on Saturday July 5 and visitors flocked to the marquee on the Village Green to view high quality exhibits ranging from vegetables, flowers and foliage to cookery, handicrafts, floral art and photography.

The flower and foliage classes were particularly well supported with gorgeous roses, scented sweetpeas and vibrant geraniums. The two cookery judges sampled and assessed a range of cakes, savoury quiche and cheese straws, jam, chutney, wine and cordials. The photography classes continue to grow in popularity with 70 entries over the five categories.
