LETTER: Destroying that which we love
Those who extol the virtues of Horsham but are bound up with the concept of continual growth on the scale proposed should consider that land resources are finite and they are destroying that which they profess to love.
The destruction of our environment, our capacity to grow food, our way of life and general wellbeing is the price being paid to the great god of growth, driven by greed.
The logic of the current accelerating trend is that Horsham will merge with its surrounding villages and then in turn with Crawley, which itself is conjoined with Gatwick, Horley and Redhill.
Something to think about.
