I had to call the ambulance and after a little wait for the ambulance in this difficult time it arrived and the crew thought my wife had gastroenteritis so they took her the Conquest A&E where she spent the rest of the day in isolation.

They diagnosed her with pneumonia and she was taken to Newington Ward where she was put in an isolating side ward for a couple of days until they confirmed it wasn’t Covid-19.

She wants me to say how wonderfully she was cared for with special thanks to nurses Carina and Joseph for extra special attention.

I finish with my gratitude to the Conquest hospital Newington ward staff and the NHS.
