The competition is open to all ages and has three categories: Children (aged 12 and under), adults (aged 12 and above) and schools (a tree decorated at a school).

Prizes will be offered for the best dressed tree in each category, including a hamper of products from Newbridge Nurseries for the adult’s prize, a selection of toys for the winner of the children’s category (worth up to £50) and a £100 voucher for the winning school.

Nigel Wait, Managing Director of Newbridge Nurseries, said: “It’s always great to see the different styles in which people decorate their Christmas trees each year, so we thought it would be fantastic to launch a competition to reward the best dressed trees in West Sussex.

“We hope that entrants will enjoy taking part - at Newbridge we do things properly, so we look forward to seeing all of the photographs of the ‘properly’ decorated Christmas trees, as well as presenting the winners with their prizes.”
