North Trade Road congestion

The traffic and congestion is terrible at certain times due to people parking both sides of the road.

My wife is a child minder to young children and she hates walking along the road because vehicles are having to mount the pavements to get past the parked cars. Some cars also park on the pavement, so she finds it hard to pass with a double buggy.

I feel the only real solution would be to put double yellow lines on both sides of the North trade Road. There are plenty of car parks in Battle - yes, I know they are not free but that is another debate.
