Pennthorpe pupils pass

Parents, staff and pupils at Pennthorpe School in Rudgwick, were celebrating last week as they opened their results.

Once again the school has achieved 100% pass rate to senior schools to go with their already impressive tally of 20 scholarships.

Headmaster, Matthew King, said, “We’re incredibly proud of our Year 8s.

“It is always lovely to see how our pupils develop as individuals at this age, and this is the advantage of the extra two years that a prep school provides.

“For a year group of 28 pupils to have won so many scholarship awards, and to schools as diverse as Wellington, Hurst and Brighton, is an amazing achievement.”
