Raising money by visiting Highgrove
The volunteer group, New Horizons Appeal, took 32 local people to the home of HRH Prince Charles, Highgrove, last week and raised over £500 for the St Catherine’s Hospice Appeal.
Those attended had a comfortable coach ride with Knights Travel and then enjoyed a two hour private tour of the wonderful grounds of Highgrove followed by an excellent Champagne Tea of freshly baked scones and finger sandwiches before boosting Highgroves charitable causes with some retail shopping.
The next NHA Lunch is to Charleston House on September 30 with three local authors.
