Singing for the shoppers

Despite the sweltering heat the pupils sang with pride and gusto for over an hour, bringing the Carfax to a standstill with a very large and appreciative crowd.

The selection of songs gave a taste of the Academy Production, held at Horham’s Capitol Theatre on 16th and 17th July, an enjoyable evening for all of the family that displays the acting, singing and dancing talents of the pupils in their final week at the Academy.

The opportunity to perform from the Carfax Bandstand, on a glorious Summer afternoon, and to share their singing with the shoppers of Horsham provided yet another special memory that will always remind them of their happy times at Southwater Junior Academy.
