Successful summer show in Mannings Heath

Manninings Heath and District Horticultural Society held yet another very successful Summer Show on Saturday, August 15, and the quality and variety of the record number of exhibits was excellent.

The show attracted many new exhibitors and the judges had a tough job trying to choose the winners.

Many visitors attended in the afternoon to view the display and to enjoy delicious home made cakes with a cup of tea.

The next event for The Society is on Thursday, September 17. Sarah Beard, a medical herbalist, will give a talk entitled ‘ How to use herbs in medicine’.

This will take place in the village hall at 7.30pm. All welcome, free entrance.
