I would like to wish family and friends a happy Christmas as we have all been suffering one way or another during the lockdowns.

There have been a lot of times where I have needed help and I was very lucky when a lady called Zoe volunteered to collect my weekly shop if I could not get a delivery slot.

She also very kindly took me to a hospital appointment and came back to take me home

I unfortunately had a really bad fall at home in September and I would like to thank again the four paramedics who attended to me. You cannot praise these men and women enough as they have a really tough job to do.

A special mention for my stepmother Brenda who I have not seen for over a year and we are lucky to be able to communicate by telephone.

My best friend Barbara who has phoned me every week since my husband passed away and it is truly lovely to speak to her on these occssions.

She is a very special lady.

Last but not least are my carers who see me every day and it is lovely to see what caring people they are . Thank you.
