We want a car park
IF only Rother District councillors would remove the blinkers from their eyes and then they would see what the people of Bexhill can see is needed, which is a very long-awaited car park. If they didn't have their own private car park in front of the town hall and had to drive around every road in the town to find a space to park they would think differently.
Ask anyone, it’s absolutely horrendous trying to park and there are no amount of people who go to other towns to shop because of this problem, thereby losing trade.
No wonder there are so many businesses closing down and empty shops littering the streets. If they must spend our money on the seafront just a fraction of it would restore the beautiful Edwardian shelters perfectly.
Please, please give this town what it really needs - a proper car park and big enough to get all the cars off our very narrow streets.
