What a load of rubbish we have in Rother

The council has closed the means to dispose of our rubbish, and the collection of garden waste.

Does this mean that we will pay less for our garden waste disposal?

The concern also arises of people fly tipping. The countryside is already blighted by selfish ignorant individuals dumping their unwanted garbage in woods and hedgerows.

Apparently it is not illegal to have a bonfire, but there again we must consider other people, they do pollute the atmosphere and may increase discomfort for asthma sufferers and other chest conditions.

Life is all about having a little consideration for others especially in these strange times. Who knows, it may be a kinder world when all this Covid-19 blows over, but I won’t hold my breath!
