What will '˜out' mean for us

For any English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish person living in the British Isles the choice is easy. The Italians, French and the Germans have tried by many wars over the centuries to dominate Europe, including our British Isles. All eventually failed, quite often due to the stubbornness of these Isles refusal to be ruled by others.

Now the Germans, ably abetted by the French, are trying the political route. Laws already imposed force us to do many things detrimental to these Isles and we know there are new laws waiting in the wings.

We now only have one choice to show that we want to rule ourselves by means of our own democratic government which has been copied the world over. We vote ‘OUT’. We can then close ‘our’ borders.

Get ‘our’ human rights laws to do what they are meant to do and deport undesirables.

We can save ‘our’ billions monthly going into the ‘Brussels money pot’ that everyone dips into but for years have never been officially audited.

What will ‘out’ mean? Yes there will be a blip in the financial and commercial world but we will deal with it ourselves not some faceless, unelected Brussels bureaucracy.

We will deal with the world intellectually, commercially, financially, militarily and politically so that we do what is good for us and not try to compromise with what is wanted by Europe.

We will then almost certainly find they then want us back, which in turn will mean that, if we decide to consider it, we can then choose under what terms we do so. Not terms that are just promises that may or may not be kept. Solid water tight non negotiable terms.

Make no mistake the Germans are already frightened we will vote out, as seen by the BMW letter to their employees, as out would decrease their profit margin.

Some and I hope most of the political élite will play fair and vote for what is best for ‘our’ Isles but unfortunately there will be some who just want to get into, or remain in, the above referred too ‘Brussels Money Pot’.

More houses for green space?

I would draw your readers’ attention to planning application RR/2016/359/P.

Developers are seeking permission to construct three, three-storey town houses on Little Common Road on the small green space immediately next to St Marks’ Church and cemetery, an appalling and totally inappropriate use of a piece of land more suitable as a small garden and seating area really.

The developers are Padstone Property Investments Ltd based in South Woodford,London,E18 so they really care about the area we live in don’t they?

The clue is in the name ‘Investments’.

The council must not give permission for every tin pot money grabbing little firm to throw up infill developments all over this area. If it does not make a stand our already creaking infrastructure will be totally unable to cope within only a few years from now what with the much larger developments already in the pipeline.
