Where toys can be borrowed for free

THERE may not be a crock of gold at the end of the rainbow, but there will be plenty of new toys for children from the Littlehampton and Wick area to enjoy.

Littlehampton Play for All toy library has been re-launched in the rainbows corner of the Wickbourne Centre, in Clun Road.

There will be new stock, new opening times and new arrangements for borrowing toys.

The toy library will be open every Thursday from 10am-3pm, for parents, carers and children to go along and play, explore the toys available and then take away their favourites.

Two toys can be borrowed for two weeks, for no charge.

Anyone with a child aged under five who would like to join the toy library should visit during the opening times and speak to toy library co-ordinator Jenny Strain.

Jenny would also like to hear from anyone who would like to volunteer to help with running the library.

For more information about the toy library, contact Jenny, telephone 01903 736626, or call in at the Wickbourne Centre.
