Why not reclaim land for housing and relocating A27

Could I suggest a possible solution not only to the problem of relocating the A27 but also where to find land for much needed housing.

We could follow the example of the Netherlands and reclaim some of our land lost to the sea.

By building a barrier at the low tide level from the Adur to the Arun, we could not only enclose enough land for housing but also create a new bypass for the A27.
