COUNTRY MARKET: Please remember the Country Market which takes place in the village hall each Tuesday from 10am to 11am. We sell a selection of sweet and savoury items including ready meals, pies, cakes, biscuits and bread. We also sell plants and preserves including a tempting variety of marmalades, as well as jams, jellies, and chutney. Hand made greeting cards and other craft items are usually available. If we do not have what you require orders can be taken.
BRIDGE CLUB: At its meeting on Wednesday March 6 the result of the duplicate pairs played was: 1, Liz and Tim Owen; 2, Hazel North and Hugh Bailey; 3, Valerie King and Jacky Lovill. Hide AdDRAMATIC SOCIETY: Ringmer Dramatic Society present their Spring Production House Guest, a thriller by Francis Durbridge, directed by Johnnie Walker. March 20 to 23, at 7.45pm in the village hall. The action is set in the lounge of the opulent Surrey home of married actors Robert and Stella Drury. Their cosy world is turned on its head when they are blackmailed into allowing a man, identifying himself as Major Crozier, to stay with them for a period of two days. The story has several twists which keep the audience in suspense until its final scene.
