Pair line up half marathonfor charity

Two supporters of a Bognor Regis charity will be running in the country's biggest half marathon.

Simon Nicholson (32) and Andrew Niblock (31) will be among the 50,000-plus runners expected to take part in this year's Great North Run.

They will be using their 13.5 mile experience on September 29 to raise 1,000 to help L'Arche Bognor Regis to build a community room.

Andrew works for the NHS. Simon is a director of a construction company.

He came across L'Arche Bognor at the Christian arts festival of Greenbelt and developed a link with the community. He has already received 800 in sponsorship.

The community room will benefit L'Arche's residents with learning disabilities at its Hawthorn Road properties as well as accomodate people from other centres in the area.
