The BID and The Novium Museum are hosts for the event, which runs from 10am - 4pm, which will see local businesses provide themed food, goodies and vouchers.

Charlotte Wickins, BID Manager, said: “Crane Street offers a varied shopping experience, hosting a variety of individual, quirky and independent businesses and we want to celebrate that.

“We hope this event encourages everyone to appreciate our wonderful Roman heritage – and, importantly, to explore Crane Street and have fun whilst they’re doing it – there’ll be plenty to see and do!”

A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 12.30pm, for more information visit visit www.chichesterbid.co.uk.
