20 years of service to Chichester care home

A Chichester care practitioner has been recognised for her long service after 20 years at a care home.

Marriott House and Lodge’s Kate Sampson was also nominated for employee of the month by residents, relatives and colleagues who felt she deserved extra recognition for the amazing work she does every day.

Kate said: “I love working at Marriott House and enjoy my role very much, receiving this recognition means a lot. I would like to thank those that nominated me.”

General manager Karen Howell said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating 20 years of loyal service with Marriott House and Lodge.

“Kate has demonstrated her dedication and loyalty to this home and its residents year after year

“I am also delighted to have such a caring and talented individual working as part of our team and I hope this employee of the month award goes some way towards showing how much Kate’s hard work is valued.”

Jane McFarlane, employee services director at Barchester Healthcare, which runs Marriot House, said: “I’m always pleased to hear stories about the long service of Barchester staff and am delighted Kate has achieved this milestone.

“It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with a happy place to live.”
