Big lottery win for one lucky Eastbourne resident

The resident with the postcode BN20 7EG, who decided to remain anonymous, was announced as the winner on December 28.

The prize was part of People’s Postcode Lottery’s special Christmas campaign where one postcode is announced as a £50,000 prize winner every day.

All the players in the lucky postcode win £50,000 for every ticket they hold.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson, said, “A big congratulations to our winner in Eastbourne.

“I hope the win lifts their spirits and they treat themselves to something nice.”

According to the lottery group, a minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities – players have helped raise more than £600 million so far for thousands of good causes across Britain and internationally.

This draw was promoted by Woodland Trust which has received more than £15.7 million in funding thanks to players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.

The charity creates, protects and restores native woodland across the UK.
