Filming seen at Beachy Head near Eastbourne

The filming was seen by resident Raymond Hughes at around 8am on Tuesday, March 14.

Sussex Film Office, which provides production support to people looking to film in the area, said: “This is for a new overseas lorry commercial.”

The company, which is based in Arundel, explained that it is unable to provide any further information about what was being filmed at this stage.

Beachy Head is a popular destination for film makers as several Bollywood films were shot by the iconic Sussex landmark last year.

A MoneySuperMarket commercial was also filmed at Beachy Head near Eastbourne in March last year, according to Sussex Film Office.

Filming and photoshoots have been spotted along Eastbourne seafront in the past.

In November 2021 The Crown was filmed on the pier and by a seafront hotel.

New Look has also decided to use the town as a backdrop for its pictures in the past while presenters Alan Carr and Stephen Mulhern have filmed in Eastbourne.
