The UK Power Network has confirmed that the power cut which affected over 35,000 homes has ended.
Homes in East Sussex had been without power since 12.45pm today as engineers temporarily turned off power in the Burgess Hill area so that we can carry out further safety checks, after a fault in a substation on March 9.
A spokesperson from the UK Power Network said: “Power supplies were restored to customers in the Burgess Hill area at 4.12pm.”
