PLANNING: Owners bid to rebuild blaze house

THE owners of a large thatched house in Tamarisk Way, East Preston, which was extensively damaged by fire in January, have applied for permission to rebuild it.

The plans are among the latest list of applications submitted to Arun District Council in the Gazette area, which also include:

CLIMPING: external access stairs for loft storage area, 3 Westground Cottages, Horsemere Green Lane.

KINGSTON: part demolition comprising removal of single-storey bay on west elevation, and chimney stack on north elevation; single and two-storey extension to annexe, Amballa, Golden Acre.

LITTLEHAMPTON: demolish original dairy depot and construction of eight dwellings and ancillary works (re-submission following LU/298/13; this application may affect the character and appearance of the Littlehampton (East Street) conservation area) The Old Dairy, rear of 3/5 Church Street.

Replace four windows on first-floor flat, 4 Alpha Court, Terminus Road.

Change of use of ground floor shop to two-bedroom flat, including change to shop elevations and additional windows on ground-floor west elevation and door on ground floor east elevation; internal alterations to first-floor two-bedroom flat, 44 East Ham Road.
