Police launch appeal to find missing Littlehampton schoolgirls

FEAR is building for the safety of a pair of teenage schoolgirls who have not been seen for two days.

Fourteen-year-olds Emmelyne Blackwell and Charlotte Bell left school in Littlehampton together at lunchtime on Monday (December 15) and agreed to meet their parents at Arundel railway station at 8.30pm that night, but did not turn up.

They were reported missing that evening.

Emmelyne, who lives in Canada Road, Arundel, is 5ft 6ins, slim, with blue eyes, and hair which is currently dyed dark red.

She was wearing blue jeans, white trainers, and a white vest top.

Charlotte lives in Arundel Road, Littlehampton. She is 5ft 4ins, with long straight blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a grey jacket with fur hood, and had a white handbag.

PC Alex Leeson, of the West Sussex Missing Persons Team, said; “At this stage there is no evidence of any suspicious circumstances but we are naturally concerned for the girls’ welfare because of their age.

“If you have seen Emmelyne or Charlotte, or know where they may be please contact us right away via [email protected] or call 101 quoting serial 1521 of 15/12.”
