Popular library revamped
One of the most popular libraries in the county, at Willingdon, has been re-furbished with a new disabled parking bay and ramp being fitted.
Local county councillor Stephen Shing said: 'This is excellent news.
'The library in Willingdon is hugely popular, not just for the lending of books but for other well attended events, like basic computer classes.
'The new facility will open up the library to many more residents. Many living in Willingdon are elderly and have been pressing for this installation for some time now.'
