Horticultural society: Sandhurst and District Horticultural Society is to have a coach outing to the world garden at Lullingstone Castle and the Lavender Farm on July 20. Contact John on (01580) 850337 or Natalie on (01580) 850110 for more information to reserve a seat.

Playing fields: the outdoor play at the playing fields on July 20 at 730 with doors opening at 6 PM for picnics. It will be Macbyrd - it is a comedy thriller set in 1940 about the changes to a small village in rural Sussex. Tickets are on sale now on (01580) 850108. Bridge club: every Monday from 2 o’clock to 5 PM there is a friendly bridge club taking place at the mission church. For more information phone Eve will hard on (01797) 253431.
