Schools reopen as thaw begins
Yapton Primary School remains closed, and St Philip Howard Catholic High School is open only for year 11 and sixth-form students.
The county council says that all schools in West Sussex with a sixth form will be conducting examinations scheduled to take place this week.

School transport may not be available and families are encouraged to have a contingency plan. Any difficulty in arriving for the exam should be reported to the school," a county council spokesman said.
