Sex pest hunted

POLICE are hunting a man with a 'mediterranean appearance who made obscene suggestions to a 17-year-old girl.

The girl, a student, was walking along the road from Gray Wood to East Hoathly at 9.15am on Friday when the man accosted her. He followed her for 500 yards, making a number of indecent suggestions along the way.

Police say the man was probably on foot, as no vehicle was seen. He is described as being of mediterranean or middle eastern appearance, 5ft 6in tall, slim build, and wearing a red hooded sweat top and blue jeans. He was in his early 20s.
