'Showtime' at St Peter's

A GROUP of friends with lots of previous stage experience have formed a new local society to produce a variety of shows.

If you fancy yourself as a Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple, go along to the 'Showtimers' murder mystery evening on December 14, at St Peter's Community Centre, Old Town.

'Murder At The Manor' is being staged to raise group funds.

The evening will have a Christmas flavour ending with carols, and the proceeds will go towards the Showtimers first big event, a Music Hall at St Peter's on April 4 and 5, 2008. A donation will also be made to charity.

Tables of four to six people are available. Tickets cost 5, including a hot supper, are available at St Peter's or Cavells, 66 Devonshire Road or through calling 219659.

The show starts at 7.30pm
