SNOW: Motorists warned to take care, and council offices close early

Niall Cooper, station manager at Littlehampton fire station, said: "Some roads are very icy, and drivers need to take extra care."

Arun District Council's Civic Centre, in Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, will close at 2pm.

A spokeswoman said: "It is anticipated that all will re-open as normal tomorrow, but a final decision will be taken early in the morning."

Littlehampton Swimming and Sports Centre is open as usual, though customers are advised to phone ahead, on 01903 725451.

The Windmill Entertainment Centre is also open, but call 01903 722224

to check times.

Littlehampton, Rustington and Angmering Libraries will also all close at 1pm.
