SNOW UPDATE: Four schools closed as winter take a grip
Most schools in the Littlehampton Gazette area opened for lessons as normal this morning (January 18) in spite of the arrival of the forecast snow.
The only schools which were completely closed were Bury CofE Primary, St Philip’s Catholic Primary, in Arundel, and Cornfield School in Littlehampton. Angmering School is due to close at 11.35am, except for A-level students.
Snow began falling across the area shortly before 8am, with drivers having to take care in the morning rush hour and reports of difficult conditions along the A27, through Chichester, Arundel and Worthing.
