SNOW UPDATE: Lyminster school closing mid-morning
Lyminster Primary School is to close at 10.30am, as a result of this morning’s (January 18) steady snowfall, West Sussex County Council has just announced.
With the morning rush over and traffic dying down, driving conditions are becoming more hazardous as snow begins to accumulate on the area’s roads.
The full list of schools closed in the Gazette area is: Arundel C0fE Primary, Amberley CofE First School, Bury CofE Primary, St Philip’s Catholic Primary, in Arundel and Cornfield School, Littlehampton. Barnham Primary School will close at noon and The Angmering School will close at 11.35am except for A-level students.
