Terrific Trio

THREE remarkable teenagers, who clocked up 600 hours of voluntary work between them, were presented with Millennium Volunteer certificates for their outstanding work.

Fay Westcott, Hayley Moore and Ben Adams are all members of Outset, a West Sussex-based organisation set up for young people to develop their skills in the community.

Outset is affiliated to the national Millennium Volunteers scheme, which gives recognition and support to young volunteers aged 18 to 24 years.

Outset co-ordinator Dawn Reid was delighted with the young volunteers' dedication and paid tribute to their acheivements.

She said: "They have all done really well and they are all tremendous people."
