The spirit of Christmas takes over village hall

The well-attended event benefited Beckey Bowls Club, Northiam Women’s Fellowship and Demelza House children’s hospice.

There were stalls and refreshments, and the jolly old gent with the white beard also made a popular appearance.

Organiser Margaret Jones said: “It was really busy with a good turn-out”
