A27 closed near Tangmere after car overturns

According to traffic reports, the A27 is closed near Tangmere after a car overturned at around 3.30pm.

An oil spillage has been reported, with the road said to be closed westbound between The Street (Tangmere Roundabout) and A285 (Halnaker / Petworth turn off).

There is reportedly heavy congestion on surrounding roads, including in Tangmere and Boxgrove.

Elsewhere, there are also reports of slow moving traffic due to a two-car accident on A286 near Wophams Lane, Birdham.
