Body of man found in Upper Beeding identified by police
Police have named the man who was found dead in Upper Beeding on Wednesday (June 25).
He is Amir O’Connor Scott, 28, from Nevill Road, Hove.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “An inquest into his death will be opened by the Brighton coroner on Monday (June 30).
“A post mortem examination took place on Thursday (June 26). The cause of death awaits the outcome of toxicology tests.
“Police are still treating the death as unexplained.”
The discovery was made by a farmer at Truleigh Hill at 5.25pm on Wednesday evening.
A car thought to have belonged to the man was found nearby.
