Littlehampton tanker spillage causes A259 delays
MOTORISTS face delays on the evening rush hour around Littlehampton after a tanker containing red diesel overturned and spilled the fuel onto the busy A259 Bridge Road just outside the town.
The accident happened just before 4pm today (Tuesday, December 6), when the trailer, being towed by a tractor, overturned.
Police were quickly on the scene and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was asked to provide equipment to lift the trailer back onto its wheels.
