Section of A27 closed for emergency repairs following collision

The AA explained that it received a report of the road being closed westbound from the A293 (Portslade/West Hove turn-off) to the A283 Steyning Road (Steyning turn-off) at around 1.55am on Saturday, April 29.

Two cars were recovered and heavy traffic was also seen, according to the AA.

Sussex Police said one man has been taken to hospital for treatment and the road remains closed while emergency repair work takes place.
