UPDATE: Police appeal for witnesses after Angmering crash

Two drivers were seriously hurt in the crash on the Angmering bypass shortly before midnight last night (Thursday, November 10).

A Skoda Octavia travelling south was in collision with a northbound Vauxhall Corsa, near the junction with Water Lane.

Both drivers were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious injuries.

There were no passengers in either vehicle and no other vehicle was involved.

The Skoda driver was a 34-year-old man from Holland with no UK address, and the Corsa driver was a 55-year-old Southwick man.

Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to contact them via 101 quoting Operation Evesham.
