Volunteer to be a special constable
THERE is only a week to go in a campaign to recruit more special constables in the Rother area.
A police spokesman said: “Right now, there are hundreds of people from all walks of life doing the right thing for their community. Highly trained, wearing the same uniform and with the same powers as regular police officers, special constables volunteer for a minimum of 16 hours a month - but carry the skills and experience they gain with them all the time.”
