Volunteers needed across Littlehampton

The West Sussex Youth Offending Service is recruiting people to serve as reparation supervisors, working with young people taking part in the Community Payback Scheme, in small groups.

The scheme is designed to benefit the community and at the same time offer young people an opportunity to repair the harm caused by their offending behaviour.

Volunteers need to be non-judgemental and be able to motivate.

They will have the opportunity to shadow experienced volunteers after completing their training, until they are comfortable.

Breakfast Club cook for Littlehampton Churches Together HOMElink, serving homeless and vulnerable people.

Cover is needed on Tuesdays and for holidays, etc., from 8am to 10.30am.

The volunteer should have good but basic cooking skills and an in-date health and hygiene certificate.

The Look & Sea Centre wants to recruit more volunteer guides to help with school visits and children’s holiday workshops, or acting as a guide for the Littlehampton Experience heritage exhibition.

Hours and times to suit the volunteer, and this is an ideal opportunity for someone with an interest in local history and keen to help people.

Angmering Community Centre is appealing for volunteers at weekends, especially to help serve refreshments at the once-a-month film shows.
