WEATHER: Outlook for Sussex over the next week
Today (Sunday, August 21) should see showers gradually dying out to give way to long spells of sunshine during the afternoon
It is expected to be feeling warm in the sunshine with light winds with maximum temperature of 23°C.

Hide AdTonight cloud is expected to thicken from the west, with some outbreaks of rain from late evening.
The rain may turn heavy for a time, but becoming drier from the west at around dawn tomorrow (Monday, August 22).
It is expected to become humid in the night with temperatures at a minimum of 15°C in many places across the county.
Tomorrow will be cloudy with a few spots of rain at first, but these will gradually clear to leave a dry and increasingly brighter day with sunny intervals for most. Maximum temperature is expected to reach 25°C.

Hide AdAccording to the Met Office, the outlook for Tuesday (August 23) to Thursday (August 25) is dry, very warm and sunny on Tuesday, with a similar start Wednesday, but with some heavy and thundery showers later.
Sussex should see sunshine and showers on Thursday, heavy and thundery at times in some parts of the county.
