Heavy rain causes traffic problems at Handcross
FLOODING and an accident have created traffic problems in the Handcross area this morning (Monday June 11).
The A23 has been blocked southbound at Handcross, due to an overturned car.
There has been congestion to Pease Pottage.
Also, one lane has been closed on the A23 southbound in Handcross between the B2110 Brighton Road junction and the B2115 junction, because of flooding.
There is also slow traffic on A23 northbound at Handcross, because of flooding.
The heavy rain has created local surface flooding on other roads across the county.
