Why?

A LANCING man is offering a 100 reward to find out who vandalised his BMW car.

Billy Attwell, of Lancing Close, wants to find out who was responsible for smashing most of the car s windows and slashing the tyres of his BMW 528i series between the evening of Monday, November 26, and the following Tuesday morning.

Mr Attwell told the Herald: "What I really want to know is why?"

He bought the car from his brother-in-law, who now lives in Australia. Mr Attwell said: "It s an old car, but it s my pride and joy."

Mr Attwell did contact the police on Tuesday, as soon as he discovered that the car had been vandalised, but he was told that they would not come out to see the vehicle.

Despite numerous attempts to contact Lancing police, no one was available for comment.
