Ardingly College win ISFA Cup to complete double

Playing at Stadium MK, the home of MK Dons FC, Ardingly started strongly, and took the lead through a fine strike from Chris Holman. Hampton came back strongly, and it took two fine saves from goalkeeper (and, later, man of the match David Bonilla) to keep them out, to make it 1-0 at half time.

Ardingly started the second half brightly, and the prolific Oscar Haynes Brown scored a superb second to double the lead. Hampton started to throw more men forward, before Chris Holman cleverly played Toby Cassidy in to score a third, making it 3-0. Hampton then scored from a set piece, before captain Alex Summerfield burst through to square for Jonah Adomakoh to make it 4-1 and seal the win for the Sussex School. Ardingly now have won the Elgin Southern League and ISFA Cup, making this year the most successful in the College’s history.
