Blues bounce back to win at Storrington
Blues had lost 7-0 at home to County League Division 2 leaders Worthing United last weekend but responded in the best possible way, with victory at Storrington, and now manager Trevor Waller is challenging his side to aim for the top six.
He said: “I’ve been really pleased with our form in recent matches.

“We have been beating the teams in and around us in recent matches and, if we can continue to do that, we will move up the table.
“In some of the games we have not been at our best but we are getting the victories and that is the most important thing.”
Josey Stakim netted his third goal in four matches to give Rustington the lead on 12 minutes at Storrington.

The Blues were much improved in the second period and regained the lead on 70 minutes when Steve Gettings struck his eighth goal of the season.
Stakim ensured Rustington would come away with all three points with his second – and 11th of the season – a minute from time.
Iain Jarvie pulled a goal back for Swans four minutes into injury-time but that proved to be just a consolation.
